Journal Snippet 7/5/18

This is what the lord spoke to me this morning.

“People still think that I want everyone to just tell me what they want, and I’ll shower them with gifts. They forget the part where I tell them they will suffer for me. This is not just some cake walk. I am fighting a war. If you want a part in it, you better be ready to fight dang it.
So many weak, lazy people claim to follow me. I don’t need lazy people. I don’t need hedonists. They seek to be filled with junk. They ask me to put them on a throne and be served forever. People follow me so that they can be blessed, like I’m a fortune machine. They didn’t listen when I said the greatest among you is the servant of all. You aren’t serving anyone when you are obsessively counting your “blessings”. If I give you much, it’s because I need you to serve, give, and do much. It’s not so that you can kick back and enjoy life. This life means nothing. The fools don’t’ see it. They want me to make this life meaning full for them. It’s not. It will all perish. I will burn it all to the ground. Every blessing these bastards have stolen from my generosity will be ripped out of their hands. They will walk in to the real life naked and lost. They will not know me when they see me. They will see me as a threat to their happiness. They will war with me, Damion. They will use my gifts as weapons against me and my children. And, I will decimate them for it. The fools. My mercy allows them a good life on earth, because it is all they will ever get. So, enjoy it I say.

To those of you who truly serve, this life is nothing. You will suffer. The closer you follow the more you will suffer. But, it is simply a sign that you reject the earth and follow me. I will welcome you in to my arms as a son or daughter. So, my children, I call on you now. Leave behind the comforts of this world and come to war with me. I promise you will have pain for your loyalty, but I will out give the pain. Knowing me is a greater gift, I promise. You make walk into death never seeing any relief, but when I welcome you home, you’ll see my gifts in full, and you will be amazed. Many of my greatest followers never say their work produce anything on earth. Abraham died with one Son, not the nation that I promised. Moses never saw Israel in the promise land. David never saw the temple built. John the Baptist never saw Jesus glorified. The disciples never saw Jesus come back again. It’s not about this life, you see. It’s about me and my goals. These people never knew that you would read about them 2000 years later. But, they didn’t do it for that. It was for me, and they suffered greatly for it with no rewards here. That is the truth. It cannot be altered. Don’t not listen to those who say differently.”
