One Nation
Defiant
Toward God
Dedicated
to Selfishness
Hating
Liberty and Justice in Favor of Anarchy
God
bless America. These words have been uttered in church and patriotic gatherings
throughout the centuries. President after president, regardless of their
religious affiliation, has called down the blessing of God on this nation.
Without
doubt we have shared in the irrefutable favor of a Sovereign God who has given
to us and kept us safe. We are among the wealthiest people in the world. Even
our poor enjoy amenities and comforts that the rest of the world knows nothing
about. We, like our cousin Israel, have been blessed by God because we chose to
stand for Him and His principles. Or, at least we tried. Our people were among
the first to experience freedoms that had never been seen before. Opportunities
have flourished. No matter what the statistics say, we are still a nation of
great power and wealth.
And
so we grew up with much, and we continue to gorge ourselves on the pleasures
that this world pumps out at a rate that is almost frightening. We love
ourselves, our idols, our food, our drink, our stuff, our pleasures, our
knowledge, and we have kicked God in the rear. And still we say, God bless
America.
How
audacious of us. How utterly and ridiculously arrogant. We call down blessing
as if, by pure association, we have been deserving of such a thing.
Would
we have called down blessing on Sodom? Would we have called down blessing on
Germany as it slaughtered God’s chosen people? Would we call down blessing on
ISIS as they martyr countless Christians?

Christians
of America, wake up! What are you doing? You pray to get a man elected who has
had multiple wives, multiple affairs, and has spoken of women in the most repulsive
way? Yet, was it not you who denounced President Clinton on his infidelities?
Tell me, is it a case of serious hypocrisy, or have our standards just plummeted?
I
have heard that, by his election, Christians of this nation have spoken. If
that is so, what on earth are we saying?! That party is more important than
morality? Not to say that his opponent, Mrs. Clinton, was any better. What I
think was said was this, “Screw you God, we want our own god. We want one from
among ourselves, with low moral standards. We will hold each one to a god-like
status as we devour each other like wolves with our words. We will be petty. We
will mock each other and call the other godless, sinful, and hypocritical. We
will call for peace as we go for the throat every time.”
THAT
is what America has said. THAT is what we want. For once can we be honest about
it? I for one am sick of BOTH political parties. I am tired of my own people.
America, you sicken me. Your desire for selfish pleasure is appalling. This
nation, person by person, state by state, political body by political body, and
yes, I am sad to say that even in most cases, American church by American
church is more focused on their own selfish, self-righteous, hypocritical,
immoral, idolatrous, and hate filled ways. We are distracted by the minute so
that we miss that monster that has swooped in to devour us.

How
can we still call ourselves a Godly nation? We are not one nation under God. We
are one nation standing AGAINST God!
We
are in danger of our arrogance coming back to bite us. So when things start
going downhill, and you decide to pray for this country, I challenge you, don’t
pray for its blessing or for its restoration. Instead pray that as the
destruction comes and Rome, under a different name, begins to crumble. That God
has mercy, and that many come to Him. Because in the end, there is only room
for ONE nation, ONE Kingdom, and ONE Lord over all, HIM!
