Still Reeling
We
are living in a world that is spinning wildly out of control. Every time I look
at the news I see more murder, shootings, and attacks all over the world. It
can quickly cause us to feel like we are all at risk and fear soon follows.
There is no doubt that things aren’t well in the world today.
I
have given birth to three babies and am awaiting my fourth. Each one has been
natural so I know full well about the pain of delivering a child. The bible refers
to the end times as being like a woman in labor pains (Romans 8:22).
Every
so often I see the contractions of labor in this world. Each year the
contractions are bigger, and stronger, and longer. It keeps coming time after
time after time. It can no longer be ignored. Fellow believers, we are entering
a time were those contractions are going to get worse. So let be watchful and
be ready.
Be
aware that Jesus is returning, and He is going to establish His kingdom. The
world as we know it is coming to an end, and I say, “Come quickly, lord.” We need to prepare ourselves for what is
coming. As the day of His return draws nearer, so our enemy unleashes hell on
those of us that follow Him.
We
need to stand firm, together. We need to be in the scripture and know Him by
His word. We need to be in prayer for discernment and wisdom. We need to pray
his leading and protection of ourselves, our families, and our fellow believers
all over the world. We need to be like Him and draw people to the kingdom.
As
things in this world get worse and more difficult, the enemy has presented us
with a singular opportunity to reach out to those who are in pain to share hope
with them. Let us be prepared to do so. Open your hearts and your homes to
those who need rest. Reach out to those in trouble. Offer prayer for those who
are in pain, and don’t be afraid to mourn with them.
We
may see many people pass on and leave us to continue the work here on earth.
I’ve seen many good people who have died, and it is not the enemy winning but
God bringing home his family by whatever means He sees fit in order to preserve
them from the times that are coming. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it hurts. But as much
as you can, rejoice for them, because now they are home and at peace.
And
lastly, we need to be strong in our Savior. We are safe because our salvation
is secure. The enemy cannot take that from us. We have to stand strong knowing
that He has secured our future. He has everything in control, and there is no
reason for us to fear what goes on around us. I know it’s easier said than done,
but look to Him and you will see things in a better light.
To
those of you in a time of pain and uncertainty, we at The Spear are with you.
Feel free to comment with prayer requests and testimonies. Part of the reason
we have established this blog is to reach out to believers and share hope. We
pray for those who are caught up in the pain and suffering of this world. Cling
to him, and be encouraged. All pain will end. “ ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order
of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
